【PRESS RELEASE】 Microdroplet Technology Enables Efficient Screening of Antagonistic Bacteria for Shrimp Aquaculture

A research team from Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology and On-chip Biotechnologies has developed a microdroplet-based screening approach to efficiently identify bacterial candidates that may suppress the growth of Vibrio harveyi, a pathogen affecting penaeid shrimp aquaculture.

The study was published in Scientific Reports on September 2, 2026.
